Covid 2022
ECL COVID 2022
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adjusted office policies to minimize the risk of infection to our patients while remaining available as much as possible for vision and eye care.
As the risk of death and serious illness from the virus is now greatly reduced we are a “mask-optional” office.
If you prefer that we wear a mask when working with you we are happy to put one on to ease your concerns about infection.
We continue to keep many of the increased surface disinfection procedures in place that we instituted in 2020, including disinfection of all frames tried on by patients in our optical.
We are asking patients to reschedule appointments if they have been recently exposed to the virus or if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, including fever, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell.
And for our part, anyone on our team who has been exposed or is experienced COVID-type symptoms will not be allowed to come to work until they can provide us with a negative COVID test.
This policy will be subject to change based on the number of reported hospitalizations and deaths from COVID in our area and the guidelines of government health agencies.
Please contact us if you have any questions and STAY SAFE!
