Our Doctors
Greg W. McGrew, OD
The opportunity to move to Leesburg arose in 1987 when Dr. McGrew met Dr. Donald Lubin at a professional meeting. The two found they had similar goals and interests. A professional friendship developed that eventually led to Dr. McGrew taking over Dr. Lubin’s small but growing family optometric practice in Leesburg.
Since coming to Leesburg, Dr. McGrew has helped thousands of patients see their best while building a small office into a bustling, state-of-the-art vision care center. He has served as a clinical researcher for major contact lens manufacturer. He is active in several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and has served as President of the Virginia Academy of Optometry.
Dr. McGrew has been involved in the community as an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America, as a youth leader at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and as a member of the Kiwanis Club. He participates in local programs that provide eye care for the financially disadvantaged, the visually handicapped, and HIV/AIDS patients. He has participated in free medical care clinics in Honduras, southwestern Virginia and in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Dr. McGrew lives in Leesburg with his wife. Their two children are both Loudoun County High graduates and James Madison University graduates. He enjoys downhill skiing, running and cycling.

Kendall Leigh, OD
Dr. Kendall Leigh is a Northern Virginia native and graduated summa cum laude with honors from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. In addition to graduating in the top 7% of her class, she was the recipient of several awards including the Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence for outstanding performance in ocular disease. She is a member of the distinguished Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and was inducted into the International Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa, during her graduate studies. After spending 4 years in Houston completing her schooling, she felt compelled to return to the beautiful state of Virginia where her family is currently residing.
Dr. Leigh’s clinical training background is comprehensive and diversified. She is highly skilled in fitting contact lenses and managing ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and cataracts. She enjoys all aspects of optometry and has a particular interest in dry eye syndrome, scleral lenses, and myopia control. Dr. Leigh is committed to providing you and your family with exceptional eyecare services and superior vision care. She strives to build long-term patient relationships and to ensure that her patients feel heard, cared for, and understood.
Dr. Leigh is an avid CrossFitter and enjoys spending her free time in Rehoboth Beach with her family and friends. She is actively involved in her church in Washington D.C., and in the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists.
Lina Mojarrad, OD
Dr. Lina Mojarrad was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from George Mason University. She then moved to Boston and earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry.
Following graduation, she extended her training by completing a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Eye Care at the Boston Veterans Affairs Medical Center. There she gained extensive exposure to a wide range of ocular pathology including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration.
She ultimately decided to move back home where she hopes to form lasting relationships with the patients in the community while providing exceptional compassionate care, understanding, and communication about the importance of eye health and preventive eye care using the latest advances in healthcare and treatment strategies.
Her areas of interest include emergency eye care, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, contact lenses, dry eye syndrome, myopia control, and co-management of cataracts. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
In her free time, Dr. Mojarrad enjoys cooking, photography, traveling, and spending time with family & friends.
